Publishing and Sharing
All plans
Publishing makes your event live: the public booking page opens and guests can book. Sharing is how people reach it — booking links, QR codes, social channels, and invitations — and both jobs are done from the event itself.
Publishing
Publish from the wizard’s Review & Publish step, from the event’s card menu, or from the Published / Unpublished pill beside Help on every event page. Publishing stays blocked until the event has a title, a venue, a schedule producing at least one bookable slot, and at least one active ticket; the Review step lists anything missing and links to the right step. Incomplete drafts, archived events, and cancelled events leave the pill disabled. A cancelled event shows Cancelled there.
- Preview shows the public page as guests will see it, before or after publishing.
- Unpublish pauses bookings: the page shows your on-hold message instead, and existing bookings are untouched. Unpublishing does not notify guests who already booked, so tell them yourself if plans change.
- Cancel event, from the event card menu, stops bookings and cancels live bookings. See Cancelling an event.
The public page URL comes from your organisation and event; see Custom domains for how ARTSVP organisation subdomains work.
The Promote page
Each event’s Promote page gathers the sharing tools:
- The booking link — copy the event’s public URL, or share straight to WhatsApp and social channels.
- Booking links — create additional trackable links, one per channel or audience. Each link tracks its own bookings, tags them, and can carry a promo code. See Booking links.
- QR code and poster — download for print and the door.
- Send Invites Pro & Expert — start personal invitations from here.
A launch sequence that works
- Publish the event.
- Book a test place yourself and check the confirmation email.
- Send personal invitations to your priority guests first.
- Then share the public booking link in your newsletter and social channels, using separate booking links per channel so you can see what worked.
